The Temple of Isis is a real place. It exists on the Island of Philae (this link will take you to a different site) in midst of the Upper Nile River in Egypt. It is a small but elegant temple set in an open courtyard paved with massive flat stonework away from the main complex. I discovered this temple in August of 1987 while on The Journey of Initiation, visiting and performing ritual in all the sacred temples along the Nile. The trip culminated in a two day ceremony at the

pyramid complex in Giza. With a group of sixty other spiritual seekers, I was given permission to spend the night in the King's chamber of The Great Pyramid to celebrate the Harmonic Convergence. The date, August 16th marked the climax of a month long pilgrimage to an exotic foreign land which felt very much like "home" to me.

This journey was indeed an initiation. Slumbering Isis awoke at my presence. She recognized me as "her own", she beckoned. She awakened with in me a sense of my true mission. The trip marked a deepening of my comittment to spiritual enlightenment and my own path of healing. It was the initiation into my work as a High Priestess, and sexual healer. I remembered my vow to The Goddess Isis, Sacred Mother, Queen of Life and Death and Woman in Red. Three years later as "my training" neared completion Isis appeared to me through dreams, poetry and visions and was seen near me by others as well.

The Temple of Isis is not only a Temple in Egypt, it is anywhere I do my work. It may be my office, a workshop facility on the mainland (see  the Traveling Goddess ), your home or my own special Temple Home. If you are traveling to San Francisco with the intention of healing perhaps you would like to plan some sessions with me. The area is peaceful and is a good central location for day trips. We could incorporate a trip to a "sacred spot" for some of our work or simply enjoy the abundance of beauty that is here. If I am able to accomodate clients in my new location Rates for one person are $80 a night or $95 for a couple and include a continental breakfast. Stay for a few days or a few weeks (and get a discount).

The Temple of Isis is also, my body. It is a Temple, deserving of honor from myself and others. The Temple of Isis is a place for communing with The Goddess. I commune with The Goddess or more correctly She communes with me through my vehicle; this body, this temple. She speaks through me, directly to you. The Temple is also a place within my heart and a place within your heart. It is a safe haven, secure from guilt, shame, suffering, pain, judgement and unconsciousness behaviors.

As a High Priestess it is my duty to become the living incarnation of The Goddess. I do it, not as I may have done it in previous lives but with the colorings and shadings of my present personality and commitment to my own path of enlightenment, immortality and transition into higher dimensions. I am not here to act as a sexual surrogate for my clients and students. I am here as a "way shower " to open the gates of consciousness to the unknown, to be the first to step through, to indicate safe entry, to guide and lend a hand in the transformation of humanity into higher realms. So be it and so it is.
